What We Want Our Audience To Learn


We want to show our audiences that brands of cereals can play a huge role in what we buy. Producers use any means they can to sell their cereal. They include toys in the cereal (or have you send in bar codes for toys). They also use catchy commercials to catch the viewers attention.

Often people will interchange the brand names with the name of the cereal, just like we call tissues, Kleenex, when the item is in fact called a tissue.
We know that brand names have succeeded when the producers have convinced you that their brand is the best thing to purchase.

Though most cereals taste the same, we as consumers tend to go towards brand names. We are literally consuming products. We want consumers to choose cereal products based on taste and nutrition rather than splashy marketing campaigns.
